Located on the lefthand side of 89A right before the bridge entering Sedona with Tlaquepaque on the left. Once we entered the hotel we were greeted by a young man (Rick) who gave us a 1-minute presentation about what was inside the lobby for breakfast in the morning and coffee and water provided throughout the day. He then offered to go to the car with me to take our luggage up the stairs to our room. He made our first impressions with the hotel very positive. Our room was a king size bed that took up most of the room, but the balcony looking over Oak Creek canyon with the red rocks in the distance looking to the north along Oak Creek. The outside seating areas on the property were shaded with grass surrounding the seating area near the creek. The balcony off the lobby was big and had a beautiful view of Oak Creek and the red rocks. There was traffic noise, but it sounded more like waves in the ocean, than traffic noise. We really enjoyed our one-night stay. Donna checked us out of the hotel and was very helpful. There are not many rooms at this hotel, so it felt very cozy. We would stay there again if the price is right. Residents of Tucson, AZ

I absolutely adored this place! The room was cozy and inviting. The scenery was beautiful as well as the creek out back. We fished and swam and felt comfortable the whole time. Everything was within walking distance so its a perfect central location. I would definitely return! 10/10

I recently stayed 2 nights at the Inn. I stayed in Room 12 and it was just beautiful! The balcony was my favorite spot, sitting above Oak Creek, listening to the water, the breeze and the birds. My room was very clean and welcoming. The staff feels more like friends or family. They were so helpful and kind. I was in love with my room based on their website, and it was even more impressive in person. Whenever I stay in Sedona, I will only stay here.

Inn Above Oak Creek is an exceptional spot to stay. It is cozy and comfortable on all levels. Location is strategic to walking to fantastic shopping and tasty restaurants. The innkeeper, Donna, is a beautiful soul who will spoil you completely Make you feel like you are home as you come and go. She has great ideas and recommendations. Every morning she makes fresh baked muffins in addition to having bagels, cereal, hard boiled eggs, coffee, tea, orange juice, and more! You have access to the fridge in the kitchen or you can put your restaurant leftovers and bottles of wine. We sat in the cozy lobby several times and outside on the deck and had a little happy hour now and again. You cannot escape the view of the red rocks surrounding the town, so the inn also reveals the same beauty from the decks of the decks of the hotel room. If you love to hike, this is the place to stay! We are not hikers and still had the best time with daily events and chill time. Do not miss this gem in Sedona. It is a beautiful inn. Donna is such a love and the staff is exceptional!

We had a room overlooking the creek. The room is very nice with a private balcony. Bathroom is lovely with all needed amenities. Check in was easy, very friendly, and informative of the local fare.

Highly recommend staying at this hotel. Donna that works there is absolutely amazing loves people and is so kind. The views are wonderful and the rooms are very homey feeling. Love that it is not a huge place which makes it feel more like a bed and breakfast. There will be no regrets if you choose this inn over Best Western or a Holiday Inn!

Stayed in room #1 during our visit to Sedona. Location was good and gave us easy access to everything we wanted to do. Room was spacious, with a fireplace, a balcony overlooking Oak Creek and a king bed. The only negative I would say about the room is the bed is to tall for my likking. Making the bed a tad shorter would make it easier for this old guy to climb in. Other than that, the bed is very comfortable. The free breakfast started our mornings. The photos on their website is exactly how our room appeared. If you are planning a visit to Sedona, AZ, Inn Above Oak would be a good place for your stay.

Great location and excellent service! We especially appreciated Rich, who provided recommendations and was very helpful. Rooms are older but mine had a good layout, and bed was very comfortable. Be sure to book a room on the creek side to get a balcony and avoid street noise. Inn has a nice common area patio overlooking the creek where we enjoyed evening wine. If you are mobility impaired in any way, please note there is no elevator to the second floor rooms, and all the showers are in large-sided jet tubs, so there are some gymnastics involved getting in and out. The rooms are also geared toward couples and singles; I would not bring kids here, for everyone's sake. I enjoyed my visit and would stay again!
